No, I don’t mean the disease. I discovered Michael Parkinson’s show just when he aired his final conversation. Since then, I’ve been YouTube-ing his interviews and they are awesome. The one thing that separates him and other talk show hosts is that he goes deep into the personality of his guests. They talk about drugs, and sex, and insights. Most of his guests are British, and it’s nice to see people like Michael Caine, Billy Connelly, Pierce Brosnan, David Beckham, and a long list of other celebrities reveal themselves to him. His show is nowhere as superficial as David Letterman’s or Jay Leno. I really enjoy them and you would too if you appreciate fine British humour. And did you know that David Beckham suffers from slight OCD? Like yours truly.
